So it's been awhile....
Hi everyone,
I know it's been forever since I've posted but I have had a lot going on in my life. I've finally recovered from the busiest holiday seasons I've had in awhile. I know it seems like I've been missing in action but I promise you that I have good reason for that.
Just to shed some light on what's been going on with me lately. First, today marks the first day of my last semester of graduate school....Master of Art in Strategic Communication coming to you on May 11. Maybe someone will finally hire me for a communications position? Maybe this blog will finally kick off? I guess only the future knows how this is going to play out. Second, as soon as I returned from vacation I interviewed and was offered a new job which I am excited to start soon - don't fret I will still be in Raleigh. Third, I am heading to Baltimore to catch up with a good friend from college - Crystal - if you're reading this just letting you know that this is real friendship because its suppose to snow and be 13 degrees in Baltimore this weekend. And finally, this girl will be 24 in a mere 25 days. Another year of life and it seems to be starting on the right foot.
I wasn't just lounging around. I have been working on blog content and I am really excited about what's in store for this year. This will not be my only post this week - I promise to utilize the time that I have during syllabus week to write more frequently.
Per some requests from friends and family, in addition to my blog posts. I am going to have a few outfits of the day - I am always balling on a budget. So if you want to look cute for less, you'll like this. Those will only be featured on my Instagram unless I am super excited and want to write all about it. With that being said, if you don't follow me on Insta, you should. It's the same handle and the same great quality content.
I will also being doing a series of food writes ups including recipes for my instant pot that I absolutely love and my favorite recipes from Chrissy Teigen's cookbook "Cravings: Hungry for More".
This year, I plan to include more travel tips because I love a good mini trip/weekend getaway. The first one will be How to Spend 72 hours in Baltimore since it is my first trip of 2019.
All in all, I am excited to be back and writing. If there's anything you want me to write about, as always, feel free to leave a comment. Thank you for being patient. I promise there's some really good stuff coming. I can't wait to share it with you all.
